There was such a huge crowd of people, family, friends and fans of Andy Irons came from other Hawaiian Islands, mainland America, Tahiti and Australia to be there for this celebration of Andy’s life, it was an incredible experience both listening to the service on the beach, paddling out with the 1000 others to bid farewell to Andy’s ashes into the water and then listen to the stories from friends who knew Andy the most made it a special and beautiful day of closure for everyone.” – Robbie.

Last Wednesday we hit up the most perfect little beach was there with barrelling left and right handers reeling off with about 20 guys out spread over about a 300m stretch, it was pumping. Surfing and getting lots of fun waves I was enjoying the good vibes until I tried to do a litte air at the end of the wave and over-rotated my upper body and heard a pop sound from my ribs resulting in a trip to the hospital and a week of rest. – Robbie
Hope your ribs get better so you are out in the water soon, in the mean time the photos are sick. Keep, keeping it rad…
