It was a full house at the opening night of SURF bike POP – An All Surf Immersion Exhibition down in St Kilda on Friday. Then it rained, really rained… It was funny at first watching the waves lap at the front door… Then it was inside, that was fun too until it stopped Ghost Mutt playing and we all had to leave for higher ground. Everything in the show is fine, so get down over the next week or so to have a look, so may rad artists showing their gear down there.
Next time we hit up Tassie, I think a visit to this little gem is in order… Sounds pretty Rad.
This exhibition launches on Friday 4th Feb and runs for the duration of St Kilda Fest. Get down, there is an amazing line up of Artists in this rad show. Jordie Brown has been a busy man… Pumping out new boards and producing some rad artwork! He specialises in Logs but makes some pretty rad little fishes and shortboards too.
I’ve always wanted to buy a block of land down the coast, order a couple of shipping containers, strategically stack them on the top of my hill overlooking the ocean and start decking them out… Cutting some holes for doors and windows, lining the inside with ply and getting loose with the boys creating some rad art inside and out…
